2016-2017 List of Universities Approved by the MOE China

The latest list of Chinese Ministry of Education-approved medical universities which offer MBBS in English has been released. The list has been released every year since 2007 when "Provisions for Quality Control Standards on Undergraduate Medical Education in English for International Student in China" were introduced.

The list is maintained by the National (Western) Medical Education Expert Group which continually assesses medical schools in China to determine whether they are qualified to offer MBBS programs in English.

The 2016-2017 list is given below.

There are tiny changes in the latest list compared to the one of last year. Luzhou Medical College is disapproved by the MOE on their qualification to recruit MBBS students. Instead, Southwest Medical University appears on the list this year which means this university is qualified to offer MBBS Program in English.
