Applications Now Open For 2015-16 Chinese Government Scholarship
The Chinese Government Scholarship Program is established by the Ministry of Education of China (hereinafter referred to as MOE) in accordance with educational exchange agreements or understandings reached between the Chinese government and governments of other countries, organizations, education institutions and relevant international organizations to provide both full scholarships and partial scholarships to international students and scholars. The MOE entrusts the China Scholarship Council to handle the enrollment of international students and carry out the routine management of the Chinese Government Scholarship Program.

I. Basic Information and Duration of the Scholarship
1. Coverage of the scholarship:
- Exempt from registration fee, tuition fee, fee for laboratory experiment, fee for internship, and fee for basic learning materials;
- Free accommodation on campus;
- Living allowance: Granted in accordance with the relevant standard;
- Insurance for outpatient medical services, Accidental Injury and Hospitalization Medical Treatment Insurance;
- One-off settlement subsidy for new arrival students after registration: Granted in accordance with the relevant standard.
2. Categories of Applicants and Duration of the Scholarship
Bachelor's Degree
Master's Degree Students
Doctoral Degree Students
3. Eligibility Requirements
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health.
2. Applicants must NOT be registered students in Chinese universities at the time of application or graduates from Chinese universities whose graduation is less than one year ago.
3. Education background and age limit:
- Applicants must be under the age of 35;
- Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have master's degree and be under the age of 40.
4. Applicants should have a competitive academic record.
